Your Position

As a Live Ops you will manage and help drive the performance in our games at our head office in Visby, Gotland. You will collaborate with the team to ensure that the game is performing in the right direction. You will constantly learn and make thoughtful recommendations as the game continues to grow. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, running live ops, has the initiative to identify and solve problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage player retention
  • Prepare reports from Playfab and other sources to present a clear picture of the state of a game
  • Collaborate with our Product Managers and Analysts to monitor the performance of events and sales and their impact on KPIs
  • Define and create Live Ops processes to ensure we are using our time and resources wisely
  • Strategize and test various hypotheses around live events to improve retention, monetization, and engagement
  • Create clear processes for obtaining relevant data from various sources and managing them in spreadsheets or other tools
  • Design, strategize, execute events within games based on data to drive engagement and monetization
  • Collaborate with the Game Design and other cross-functional teams team to ensure engaging new content and events are delivered to the highest quality
  • Ensure players find value in participating in events by tuning events based on data and testing to create a deep gameplay experience for our players
  • Design, implement, and evaluate experiments to test hypothesis around live events to improve engagement, retention, and monetization
  • Drive engagement through the analysis of the in-game economy and other data metrics via reporting tools
  • Track and measure events performance in relation to sales, features, tests, and results in order to evaluate the performance of new events, features and game content
  • Supporting the development team in executing and rolling out new features

Who you are:

  • 3+ years working in the game industry 
  • 1+ years experience managing live operations in mobile game products
  • The ability to create campaigns around holidays or other events within our games.
  • A strong passion for games and gaming, especially mobile!
  • An understanding of free-to-play economies and game systems
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to prioritize your time based on the most important needs of the project
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
